NEW MOON IN SAGITTARIUS 2024 – Break Free From Old Patterns!
As the sky turns a deep orange, a group of women and children gather at the edge of their village in Sub-Saharan Africa, each carrying empty jerry cans. They exchange knowing glances, ready for their nightly journey to the stream. The path is narrow and winding, cutting through dense foliage and over rocky terrain. The group moves swiftly, their footsteps barely audible on the soft earth.
After getting to stream and witnessing the unimaginable, they are headinghome tensed.
Suddenly, a rustle in the bushes causes everyone to pause. An unknown elderly woman creeps out of the bush, raising her hand for silence. The group holds their breath, listening intently. After a tense moment, a small animal darts out and scurries away, and the group exhales in relief. The elderly woman, with years of wisdom etched into her face, asks why they are so anxious. They explain that the stream that has served the community for centuries suddenly dried up.
“Let us go so I may also see it,” the woman says with a smile.
As they approach the stream, the sound of flowing water grows louder. Anxiety builds as they get closer. They wonder where the lost stream has re-emerged from as it glistens under the moonlight, its surface reflecting the stars.
“Who are you, Ma’am?” they ask, but she only smiles and urges them to quickly fetch water from the stream. They work in harmony, filling their containers with the cleanest, coolest water they’ve ever seen from the stream.
Now everyone wants to know who this mysterious woman is.
“I can see you all want to know me, right?” she asks. The cheers of “yes” fill the air. The strange woman says, “Look up to the sky and you’ll see me and know me.”
As they rush to look up, only one object stands out in the sky—the Queen of the Night Sky—the Moon.
“Are you the Moon?” they ask, but when they turn back, the woman is gone. She dives into the stream, swims around, and sails away beyond sight.
What just happened? The people can’t find words to explain. How will they tell the others what they just saw? They agree to tell it as it is, even if no one believes them, and head home in amazement.

1. Get a cup of water.
2. Face in the direction of the new moon.
3. Say the prayers below holding the cup of water in your right hand:
“Dear God/Universe,
I come to You in humility, seeking: strength to overcome the challenges I face, courage to confront my fears, resilience to persevere through hardships, and the wisdom to make wise decisions
Help me to: rise above my limitations, break free from bondage and negativity, and walk in the power of Your presence.
4. Drink half of the water, and wash your face with the rest.
